TekSpree has done it again! Using our innovative technical expertise, we have developed the TekSpree Mini-Cooper Convertible Windscreen for your 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 MiniCooper convertible! When in use, The TekSpree Mini Cooper Windscreen (also known as a wind deflector) makes cruising with the top down a more pleasurable experience. The durable nylon polymer windscreen material is specially designed to resist fading, tearing and the extreme heat conditions found in cars. We tested the TekSpree Windscreen extensively under wind tunnel conditions and were able to reduce buffeting and wind-noise by 10 decibels. Listening to the radio with the top down will now be a pleasure!
Of course, it's no fun to drive a convertible if you can't feel some wind in your hair. They key is to achieve the right amount of cooling breeze so that you and your front-seat passenger can ride comfortably without arriving at your destination looking like you were extras on the set of Twister. To achieve this balance, TekSpree developed a patent pending dual-layer approach. The first layer gives the screen rigidity against the wind, while maintaining the right amount of flexibility so you can still move your seat back-and-forth without cracking or breakage. The second layer diffuses the wind so that the front seat passengers feel a cooling breeze instead of a hair-hurricane. Finally, the dual layer system is thick enough to diffuse the wind, but thin enough to enable the driver to use the rear-view mirror safely during the day or night.
Installation is easy! TekSpree Windscreen's are designed to be installed by one person in under 5 minutes. Our test condition was under the hot Florida sun in a busy mall parking lot while a stalking Honda Civic waited for our space. Our tester was able to take the top down, and attach the windscreen in under 5 minutes - without breaking a sweat, and before the Civic started honking for the space! That's a success. There are only two straps in the installation process! One strap is attached easily to the headrest pylon, the other to the passenger side pylon. Adjusting the height off the windscreen is done easily by moving the headrest up and down (this ensures that the MiniCooper Windscreen is level even if the passenger/driver seats are not even).
Need to store the TekSpree Convertible Windscreen in your trunk? We've designed with a collapsible frame so that it will fit easily in your Mini's trunk! You can either collapse the TekSpree Mini Cooper Windscreen into it's included storage bag by removing the resistance rods, or you can stick the entire windscreen right into the trunk - it's your choice!
Using the TekSpree Windscreen can reduce the amount of wind entering the front seats by up to 70% giving you a chance to have a conversation or listen to the radio. With reduced wind flow, you'll also be able to drive your car earlier in the Spring and later in the Fall without getting cold. Best of all, we offer you a 100% money back guarantee - you have nothing to lose! If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, simply email us and we'll arrange for full refund of your purchase price. And, as usual free shipping is always available on your purchase!

After researching all available wind screens for my 2009 convertible, and then asking questions via email, I purchased and installed the unit. The turbulence is much lower and we can hear the radio. Don't understand why anyone would pay what the Mini style costs. A great value!!

Wow, couldn't believe how much the Mini windscreen is from the dealer. Well, I guess I'm not really that surprised since you usually pay a premium for deal products. This windscreen does block wind, reduces noise and is rather quick to install and remove. Good price, don't have to take off every time for fear of someone grabbing it as I might be had I ponied up for the factory version.

The wind deflector works well, and is easy to install. Not sure why it is so deep, i think something a foot shorter would still work. Does fold up and store easily.
